Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a cloud security professional to review FedRAMP authorization packages, monitor cloud environments for security and compliance, and guide architecture for new and existing workloads in a large hybrid on‑premise and multi‑cloud environment.

You will work with the broader security engineering and authorization teams to ensure cloud‑hosted systems meet lifecycle security and compliance requirements, and you will support container and serverless workload security as

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience supporting cloud security, FedRAMP authorization, or continuous monitoring activities.
• Working knowledge of AWS and/or Microsoft Azure security services and native security tooling.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and cloud security best practices.
• CISSP certification required.
• AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate required.

Responsibilities

• Review cloud authorization packages (e.g., FedRAMP) and support ATO recommendations for cloud offerings under evaluation.
• Perform continuous monitoring of CSP environments for security configuration, compliance, and drift.
• Provide cloud security architecture guidance and design review for new and existing cloud workloads.
• Support container and serverless workload security, including image scanning and runtime protection.
• Support incident response and remediation activities for cloud-hosted systems.
• Monitor cloud cost and usage patterns and recommend security-relevant optimization opportunities.
• Maintain documentation of cloud security controls, configurations, and architecture decisions.
• Support periodic security assessments and audits of cloud environments.
