Job summary

CACI in Washington, DC is seeking a Task Order Manager to coordinate Agile delivery with product managers, developers, QA, and federal stakeholders. You will guide architecture, DevSecOps, cloud-native design, and IaC while mentoring teams and removing roadblocks that impede execution.

You will serve as the engineering authority across cross-functional delivery teams, ensuring governance, security, and alignment to mission objectives with AWS-hosted microservices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Expertise in cloud architecture with at least one major provider (AWS preferred).
• Proven experience across: Agile delivery and team leadership.
• CI/CD pipelines and Git based workflows.
• Full stack engineering (Java/Node.js, modern front-end frameworks).
• API design and microservices.
• Databases (relational and NoSQL).
• Testing strategies and federal security practices.
• DHS EOD background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Agile Technical Leadership: Plan and deliver software within Agile frameworks; coordinate sprint execution and ceremonies.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate business direction into technical plans and increments.
• Architecture & Engineering Direction: Define standards for cloud native apps, microservices and API design.
• Lead technology stack selection; establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Cloud Platforms & Infrastructure as Code: Build serverless and containerized platforms on AWS; IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Security, Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal security guidelines and governance controls.
• Mentoring & Cross Team Enablement: Mentor teams across multiple scrum teams; remove roadblocks and enable communication.
