Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer in Hanover, MD to join a cross-functional team delivering AWS cloud-native and serverless solutions. You will drive automation, IaC, and secure deployments across multiple projects with 3–12 month engagements, requiring a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

The role emphasizes agile collaboration, secure APIs, monitoring, and rapid customer support. A certified AWS Solutions Architect is required or must be provided within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent technical field.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Experience with JSON, YAML, XML.
• Automation in Windows or Linux using Bash/PowerShell.
• Understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines (Jira, GitLab, Argo, Jenkins).
• Experience with databases (RDBMS, NoSQL), data modelling, SQL.
• Experience with microservices, scalable architectures, containerization, cloud-native solutions.
• Experience with secured and remote APIs (REST, SOAP).
• Experience with monitoring and logging; user auth/auth; network security.
• Strong written and communication skills for customer-facing needs.
• Flexibility across multiple projects and customers.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Experience with full-stack development in Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
• Lead development and delivery of distinct tasks within projects.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate; certification due within 30 days if not yet obtained.

Responsibilities

• Support AWS engagement managers to architect, design, develop and deliver cloud-native and serverless solutions.
• Attend agile scrum standups, planning/reviews, and customer meetings; track progress in ticketing system.
• Develop cloud solutions and workflows using services, code, dependencies, and data archiving.
• Design and automate AWS workload deployments using DevSecOps and IaC.
• Interact with multiple OS, applications, environments, and cloud platforms.
• Perform incremental testing to streamline deployment and reduce errors.
• Apply IT and systems engineering experience to AWS/cloud challenges.
• Utilize open-source tools to meet project use cases.
