Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an engineer to support certification activities for its Networking product lines. You will work with accredited labs to drive Common Criteria, FIPS, and DoDIN evaluations and help craft security documentation and policies.

You will advise developers and QA on certification processes and track milestones with engineering teams. The role requires cryptographic module experience, proficiency in C/C++ and Python, and several years in government security testing

Formación

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; MS preferred.
• Experience with C/C++, Python and/or Golang; ability to read C source code.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with cryptographic modules.
• Minimum 3 years in certification schemes (Common Criteria, FIPS, DoDIN).
• Minimum 4 years in government certifications or security testing.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the execution of Common Criteria, FIPS, and DoDIN certifications across all HPE Networking product lines
• Operate as a representative of HPE Networking with accredited labs during evaluation
• Assist in the generation of documentation (e.g. FIPS security policies, CC security targets)
• Provide consulting and guidance to developers and QA around certification processes
• Attend regular meetings with labs and engineering/QA to maintain milestones
• Communicate gaps found by labs to engineering and product teams to ensure remediation
• Monitor changes to government standards and inform management of impact on releases
• Assist in developing and maintaining FIPS-compliant cryptographic modules
