Customs and Border Protection is recruiting Border Patrol Agents to enforce immigration laws and safeguard U.S. borders. The BPA position offers base pay, comprehensive federal benefits, and retention incentives, including up to $20,000 recruitment and up to $30,000 retention incentives.

Training at the Border Patrol Academy and details on duty locations are provided. Opportunities exist at multiple sector stations across the United States with various pay grades and career advancement potential

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Immigration and Nationality Law and procedure.
• Knowledge of the Use of Force policy and qualification standards.
• Knowledge of Criminal Law and Procedure in enforcement contexts.
• Proficiency with firearms and safety practices.
• Familiarity with basic law enforcement vehicle operations.

Responsabilités

• Make arrests and enforce immigration laws as required.
• Perform searches of detained individuals, vehicles, and surroundings for weapons or contraband.
• Gather evidence, prepare reports, and coordinate with other agencies.
• Participate in investigations and border operations with professional conduct.
• Operate as a Border Patrol Agent within CBP at various duty locations.
