Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks an Architect to provide professional architectural oversight for federal construction and facility projects at Fort Hood, Texas. You will review designs, ensure code compliance, monitor construction, and maintain quality throughout project execution.

You will collaborate with government personnel, engineers, contractors and stakeholders to integrate architectural requirements while meeting functional, aesthetic and operational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture is required.
• Registered Architect (RA) license is required.
• Minimum five years of experience as an Architect.
• USACE or federal project experience preferred.
• Experience with RMS 3.0 and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oversight of the architectural aspects of Fort Hood facilities.
• Ensure adherence to approved design standards, codes and regulations.
• Review project progress against architectural milestones and submittals.
• Review designs for functional and aesthetic requirements and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors and stakeholders for integration of architecture.
• Maintain detailed design documentation and changes from original plans.
