Job summary

Credence seeks an AI Platform & DevSecOps Engineer to design, secure, and operate a scalable cloud platform in AWS GovCloud. You will build reusable infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure compliance across DoD and federal applications.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes, and integrate security controls throughout the stack to enable reliable AI-enabled services for mission-critical workloads.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on DevSecOps, DevOps, or cloud/platform engineering roles.
• Strong AWS GovCloud experience and Kubernetes/Docker proficiency.
• Experience building and securing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, CodePipeline).
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of federal security frameworks (NIST RMF/NIST 800-53) and DoD requirements.
• Ability to design secure, scalable, compliant cloud platforms for AI-enabled apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable platform capabilities in AWS GovCloud.
• Develop reusable infrastructure, automation, deployment patterns, and platform services.
• Design and manage AWS GovCloud environments using EKS, IAM, VPC, S3, CloudWatch.
• Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines; integrate testing, security, and compliance steps.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform/CloudFormation and Ansible.
• Deploy and operate containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Embed security throughout SDLC and support compliance (NIST, RMF, FedRAMP).
• Support AI platform enablement and integration of AI/LLM services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production reliability and observability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and produce engineering docs.
