Job summary

Steel Point Solutions is seeking an Acquisition Lead/Program Manager to provide strategic leadership across all phases of federal program execution. The role blends federal acquisition management with program and project leadership to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery aligned to government requirements and organizational goals.

The incumbent will supervise cross-functional teams, manage risk, and interface with CORs while delivering SOWs, IGCEs, and J&A for complex contracts.

Qualifications

• Active Public Trust Clearance Required
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
• 12+ years of experience in federal acquisition, contract management, and/or program management
• 5+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
• 10+ years in managing multiple contract types and leading source selections, contract modifications, and evaluations
• Proven experience in developing and commercializing software toolkits
• Track record of program compliance, risk mitigation, and quality delivery under federal guidelines

Responsibilities

• Advise on acquisition planning, contract execution, and regulatory compliance across the full lifecycle
• Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS and agency procurement protocols
• Serve as interface with CORs, aligning deliverables with requirements and performance metrics
• Develop SOWs, acquisition strategies, IGCEs, and J&A for competitions
• Lead large-scale government programs from initiation to closeout
• Manage integrated project plans, risk registers, and stakeholder communications
• Oversee day-to-day execution, including cost control, milestones, and team coordination
• Drive WBS, IMS, and EVM to track performance and cost variances
• Mentor multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration
• Provide status updates to senior leadership and oversight bodies
