Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Feasibility Manager in Study Feasibility within the Clinical Development Operations function. The role partners with study teams on design feasibility, country/site selection, and protocol review to assess patient burden and impact on recruitment and timelines.

You will work in a highly collaborative, analytical capacity, leveraging experience in clinical study design, operations, and management, with potential to influence without authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in pure, applied, or technical sciences.
• 6+ years of experience in drug development and/or clinical trial operations.
• Drug development and/or scientific project leadership experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of pharma drug development processes.
• Experience with complex scientific analyses and decision making.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with broad scientific, strategic, and business orientations.

Responsibilities

• Manages reporting of Feasibility Team Portfolio deliverables and contributes to organizational performance targets.
• Reviews metrics and escalates issues to Feasibility AD/Directors.
• Incorporates insights from Feasibility & Business Insights teams.
• Assists Feasibility ADs/Directors in conducting detailed scientific, analytical, and operational analyses for study teams.
• Identifies connections within/across therapeutic areas to optimize study performance at the portfolio level.
• Leads continuous improvement projects.
• Demonstrates strategic, agile thinking, strong presence and communications, cross-functional facilitation, collaboration, and analytic orientation.
