Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Study Feasibility Associate Director to join Clinical Development Operations. You will partner with study teams to shape design feasibility, country and site selection, protocol review, and assessment of patient burden and timelines.

This highly collaborative role requires expert facilitation, influence without authority, and a track record in clinical study design, operations, and management across global trials.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of pharmaceutical experience with 5+ years in clinical research leadership.
• Bachelor's or advanced Degree in pure, applied, or technical sciences.
• Drug development and/or scientific project leadership experience preferred.
• Therapeutic area background in Oncology, Neurology, or Immunology preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of pharma drug development processes.
• Recognized contributor in complex scientific analyses and decision making.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with broad scientific, strategic, and business orientations.

Responsibilities

• Designs, prepares, and facilitates cross-functional global strategy discussions on feasibility and execution strategies.
• Support strategic planning for delivery of global phase 2 and phase 3 trials across AbbVie portfolio, including 35+ countries and large budgets.
• Matrix management to drive analytical insights and study recruitment planning across AbbVie teams.
• Conducts detailed scientific, analytical, and operational analyses to prepare for study team engagements.
• Provides scientific and strategic consultation on country strategy, site selection, protocol and patient burden, recruitment, and timelines.
• Identifies and analyzes important connections across therapeutic areas to optimize study performance.
• Leads and manages projects to improve Study Feasibility & Recruitment capabilities.
