LER TechForce, LLC. is seeking a qualified FEA Validation Engineer to support automotive product development in the Dayton, Ohio area.
You will perform FEA/CAE analyses, coordinate validation testing, and drive correlation between simulations and physical tests to ensure design integrity. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical/automotive engineering and hands-on experience with HyperMesh, Abaqus, and Nastran.
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related field.
- 1+ years of FEA/CAE or automotive experience.
- Strong knowledge of FEA and finite element modeling.
- Experience with pre-processing (HyperMesh/ANSA) and solvers (Abaqus/Nastran).
Mansioni
- Develop FEA models and perform structural analysis for component validation.
- Plan and coordinate validation testing per requirements.
- Perform FEA-to-test correlation and recommend design improvements.
- Develop test methods, fixtures, validation plans, and reports with cross-functional teams.
- Manage project schedules and communicate results to customers.
