Job summary
TEEMA Group is seeking an FEA Engineer in Shelby Township, Michigan to assist in non-linear analysis of rubber products and structural components using Abaqus and Hypermesh. The role involves generating technical data and communicating findings to engineers and managers.
The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of FEA experience with nonlinear rubber analysis, metal analysis, and modal analysis, plus familiarity with Fatigue software and CAD tools. Office and production floor environment in Michigan.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Mechanics is required.
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Mechanics is preferred.
- 1–5 years of FEA experience, automotive industry a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform nonlinear FEA of rubber products to meet customer requirements using Abaqus/Hypermesh.
- Perform structural component analysis with Abaqus/Hypermesh.
- Create technical data packages with fatigue evaluation results and stress/strain predictions.
- Communicate design and program issues clearly with team members.
- Ability to multi-task and move multiple projects forward concurrently.
- Interface regularly with Product Engineers and Managers.
