The Opportunity

About the Job

We seek a remote candidate in the upper Midwest, preferably Wisconsin, to work on our linear filler equipment. The role involves installing and repairing this equipment, requiring advanced mechanical, automation, and food processing expertise.

  • Provide basic and advanced training across the Americas for aseptic processes and Linear Filler procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, performing repairs or recommending solutions to clients.
  • Perform emergency or unscheduled repairs; be available for customer care at short notice.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance, including inspections and minor repairs, in coordination with clients.
  • Offer advisory services during installation, servicing, and repair visits, including instructing third parties and conducting quality reviews.
  • Coordinate contractor work at customer sites.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical and mechanical CAD drawings, P&ID's, and flow schemes.
  • Prepare and submit inspection, service, time, and expense reports weekly.
  • Inspect operational parts to ensure they meet expected tolerances.
  • Maintain inspection records, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions.
  • Recommend equipment modifications to prevent future issues and advise clients on parts replacement.
  • Coordinate with customers regarding commissioning status daily.
  • Respond to customer service, emergency, and breakdown calls, including after-hours as needed.
  • Provide technical expertise for running bottle and machine validations through FDA authorities in the U.S.
  • Troubleshoot during installation and commissioning at customer sites.
