Job summary

Transformational Health Network, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Construction Estimator in Orlando, FL to develop and submit competitive bids for transportation and heavy civil projects.

This on-site role requires hands-on estimating experience and comfort with FDOT projects, using HCSS, Bid-to-Win, or similar systems. The ideal candidate will conduct quantity takeoffs, analyze plans and specs, and collaborate with project teams to ensure bid accuracy.

Qualifications

• Mid-level construction estimating experience.
• Experience with FDOT projects is required.
• Experience with transportation, roadway, infrastructure, or heavy civil construction preferred.
• Ability to independently perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive construction estimates
• Review project plans, specifications, drawings, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop project pricing
• Prepare and submit bids in accordance with project requirements
• Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identify project risks, exclusions, and potential cost impacts
• Coordinate with project management, operations, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Research labor, equipment, and material costs
• Maintain accurate estimating documentation
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and project reviews
• Support business development and operations teams throughout the bidding process
