What You’ll Be Doing:

• Estimating FDOT civil and public utility projects from front to back
• Performing detailed quantity takeoffs
• Coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and municipalities to validate scope and pricing
• Reading and interpreting FDOT specs, standards, and utility plans
• Building estimates you can defend — with clarity, detail, and confidence
• 5+ years of experience in civil construction estimating (utility focus)
• Strong command of FDOT/municipal specs, bid procedures, and pay items
• Experience estimating storm, sewer, water, lift stations, force mains
• Proficiency preferred in software: Bid2Win/HCSS, Bluebeam, Planswift, Heavy Bid, Agtek
• Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal
• Organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven
• Prefer local candidates or those relocating specifically to West Palm Beach; this is an on-site role
