Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Mountain View, CA, seeks a Fault Detection & Diagnostics Deployment Lead to act as the technical authority for site-level deployment and validation of diagnostic platforms. You will bridge facilities, networks, and Work Order systems to onboard devices and configure analytics.

The role requires deep HVAC, BACnet/Modbus, and CMMS knowledge, plus field validation and commissioning experience.

Qualifications

Deep understanding of building control protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
Experience with CMMS, asset registries, or work order automation platforms.
Experience owning field-level validation, site-readiness testing, control sequence audits, or commissioning.

Responsibilities

Act as end-to-end technical lead through project lifecycle phases, including initiation, verification, mapping, and handover.
Oversee data integration from field networks to host compute platforms and configure cloud messaging for diagnostics tools.
Provide secure, view-only remote access for third-party vendors in line with security policies.
Develop and validate site-level UAT scripts and verify data mapping and analytics rule engines.
Align software diagnostic rules with asset models and maintenance catalogs for actionable alerts.
Drive training and onboarding, providing reference tools and learning materials.
Maintain field task records, track RFIs, mitigate data-path disruptions, and guide remediation.
