Job summary

Signature Retail Services, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Associate for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM). The role is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule, offering competitive pay and benefits.

You will operate a sit-down forklift, inspect lumber shipments, and manage inventory while collaborating with facility teams to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient material handling. The position emphasizes independence, attention to detail, and the ability to work in both indoor and outdoor

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.
• 5+ years experience operating a forklift and order picker, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Smartphone with internet access for reporting purposes.
• Possess basic tools and equipment such as work gloves, a tape measure, a box cutter, and standard hand tools.
• Comfortable in fast-paced indoor/outdoor warehouse environments.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication with facility and SRS teams.
• Dependable attendance for the 3:00 PM-11:00 PM, Monday-Friday shift.
• This is a physically active role involving standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing ladders, and overnight shifts.
• Regularly lift and move lumber products and materials up to 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload and receive inbound shipments using a sit-down forklift or manual methods.
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and document findings.
• Prepare and submit detailed daily reports summarizing activities and inspections.
• Safely palletize, stage, and manage inventory using forklift or cherry picker.

• Perform minor repairs on product packaging to maintain presentation and quality standards.

Warehouse Forklift Associate - 2nd Shift

Pay Range: $21.00-$23.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
Position: Full-Time, 2nd Shift
Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly

Join Signature Retail Services as a Warehouse Forklift Associate and put your forklift, warehouse, and quality inspection experience to work with the SRS team! This full-time position offers a Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM schedule, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work independently while supporting daily warehouse operations.

In this role, you'll work with the SRS and facility teams to operate a forklift, inspect lumber shipments, load and unload products, manage inventory and reporting to prepare materials for delivery. You'll work both inside the warehouse and in the outside lumber yard, while helping ensure products are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently. Position Responsibilities:

• Safely unload and receive inbound shipments of lumber products and building materials using a sit-down forklift or manual methods.
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all products meet quality standards, documenting findings and addressing any discrepancies before preparing items for outbound shipment to local stores.
• Prepare and submit detailed daily reports summarizing activities, quality inspection results, and any relevant observations.
• Safely palletize, stage, and manage inventory by performing up-stocking and down-stocking tasks utilizing a forklift or cherry picker.
• Operate independently while maintaining effective communication with warehouse associates and management to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform minor repairs on product packaging to maintain presentation and quality standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21+ years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and have a reliable personal vehicle.
• 5+ years experience operating a forklift and order picker, or the willingness to obtain certification.

• Possess basic tools and equipment necessary to perform job duties, including work gloves, a tape measure, box cutter, and standard hand tools.

• Dependable attendance to consistently work the scheduled 3:00 PM-11:00 PM, Monday-Friday shift.
• This is a physically active role that involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing ladders, and remaining active throughout overnight shifts
• Perform regular lifting, moving, and handling of lumber products, equipment, or materials weighing up to 50+ lbs.
