Job summary

Signature Retail Services is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Associate for the 2nd shift. The role operates a sit-down forklift, inspects lumber shipments, loads/unloads products, and manages inventory while reporting daily activities.

The position is full-time with a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift, Monday to Friday, and offers bi-weekly pay, 401(k), vacation and sick time, and holiday pay. Candidates should be 21+ with forklift experience or certification, valid license and insurance, and a willingness to

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience operating a forklift and order picker, or the willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload and receive inbound shipments of lumber products and building materials using a sit-down forklift or manual methods.
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all products meet quality standards, documenting findings and addressing any discrepancies before preparing items for outbound shipment or internal warehouse storage.
• Prepare and submit detailed daily reports summarizing activities, quality inspection results, and any relevant observations.
• Safely palletize, stage, and manage inventory by performing up-stocking and down-stocking products and/or pallets, utilizing a forklift or cherry picker.
• Operate independently while maintaining effective communication with warehouse associates and management to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform minor repairs on product packaging to maintain presentation and quality standards.
