Job summary

Macon-Bibb County Government is seeking an experienced FBO Manager to lead HighNote Aviation’s operations at the county's airport. You will direct customer service, fueling, ramp, facilities, and safety programs while ensuring regulatory compliance and strategic revenue growth.

The role requires a college degree in aviation or airport management and at least five years of FBO management experience, with strong leadership and budget oversight. Occasional travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• College degree in Aviation, Airport Management or related field and five years of FBO management at a Part 139 FAA Certified Airport.
• Experience with ground handling of Group III and higher aircraft.
• Ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and manage all FBO functions and revenue streams.
• Ensure safe, compliant FBO operations with FAA, TSA, EPA, OSHA, fire code, leases, contracts, budgets.
• Oversee fueling operations, fuel quality, inventory, equipment, and ground services.
• Develop and maintain an FBO safety program and incident reporting procedures.
• Supervise staff, schedule, train, and evaluate performance.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and facility appearance.
• Coordinate with airport stakeholders and manage budgets and reporting to the Aviation Director.
• Develop relationships with aircraft owners and operators.
