Job summary

ALDI's Store Manager Trainee program accelerates leadership by giving hands-on responsibility for daily store operations, merchandising, customer service, and team development. You will balance frontline leadership with managing store standards and budgeted KPIs in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role starts at $29.50 per hour with a 45-hour work week and an earning potential of $86,000–$106,000 in year one, including salary and bonus where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old required.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Priorexperience in a retail environment and prior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports to ensure desired results; leads and develops store personnel.
• Develops and implements action plans using company provided resources to improve operating results.
• Oversees the appropriate resolution of employee and customer concerns, aligning with the district manager, as needed.
• Interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations to the district manager.
• Manages personnel, including recommending personnel for advancement and termination as appropriate.
