Penske is seeking a Sales and Operations Management Trainee in Sun Valley, CA. You will learn Penske’s sales processes, leading-edge technology, and a strong business culture through ongoing training and mentoring.

You’ll develop skills across sales, operations, finance, and customer service, with a clear path to management. The position offers an hourly wage with a starting salary of at least $52,000 per year and weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred concentration in Business or Marketing.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Internship or related work experience in a customer facing role preferred.
• Results oriented, attention to detail and good time management skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required, as is the ability and willingness to drive Penske vehicles, including a 26' box truck.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and safety sensitive; DOT drug screening and FMCSA requirements apply.
• Willingness to travel within the district and work the required schedule.

Responsabilités

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions to local and national accounts.
• Manage large inventory of vehicles, balancing fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.
