Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Rental Sales Management Trainee to launch a transportation and logistics career.

The program is designed to be completed in 18–24 months and provides broad training across Finance, Operations, Human Resources and Sales. The program combines structured classroom instruction with on-the-job rotations across multiple business units to build foundational leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business administration or related field.
• One year or more customer service experience preferred.
• Must be computer literate at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Handle the sales and process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation.
• Maintain current and accurate data within the company's marketing database.
• Responsible for generating rental, lease and used vehicle sales leads.
• Manage all rental asset processes to include Vehicle PM and cleanliness standards.
• Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing the sales and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies.
