Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Grapevine, TX offers an 18- to 24-month Rental Management Trainee program designed to fast-track you into a leadership role.

The role includes hands-on exposure to Finance, Operations, HR, and Sales & Marketing. You'll gain experience across core areas of the business, handle inbound/outbound sales, manage rental assets, data accuracy, and customer relationships while working Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar related degree
• One year or more customer service with issues resolution experience preferred
• Must be computer literate - intermediate required

Responsibilities

• Handle the sales process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation
• Maintain current and accurate data within the company’s marketing database
• Responsible for generating rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads
• Manage all rental asset processes to include Vehicle PM and cleanliness standards
• Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing sales and marketing initiatives
• Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies
• Reconcile all customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base
• On a voluntary basis as well as based on scheduling, the Rental Management Trainee will be required to perform the role of On-Call Representative based on work schedules as determined by Supervisor
