Job summary

A. Duie Pyle offers a Leadership Development Program (LDP), an accelerated training track designed to groom future leaders. The program blends classroom instruction with hands-on operations experience at the nearest Pyle terminal.

Over six months, participants learn about freight handling and LTL operations, completing shifts on the dock and accompanying drivers, while engaging with senior leadership to foster professional growth.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation or similar field preferred.
• Excellent communication—both written and verbal.
• Ability to relocate within the Pyle network upon program completion.

Responsibilities

• Shadowing Pyle leaders to develop leadership skills through on-the-job experiences, project assignments and formal training.
• Understanding teamwork and how all roles impact the operation.
• Participating in classroom-style learning to develop industry and company knowledge and professional relationships with leadership.
• Performing several different positions and shifts to gain hands-on experience.
