Wallis Companies in Missouri is seeking a Fast Track Assistant Store Manager to train with the C-Store management team and learn to run a single unit operation efficiently and profitably. You will assist the Manager and Assistant Manager in daily store operations, staff development, and delivering outstanding customer service while working an average of 50 hours per week.

The role emphasizes ownership of shifts, inventory control, and adherence to company policies as you prepare for advancement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years retail experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly.
• Ability to work an irregular schedule, 45+ hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct the shift to maximize productivity of staff and self.
• Protect company assets by following asset control policies.
• Understand sales per labor hour and monitor store hours.
• Post hours worked and verify payroll; cover shifts on short notice.
• Complete deposits and related paperwork promptly.
• Learn and perform store financial analyses for sales, profits, and margins.
• After training, perform duties of an Assistant Manager.
• Maintain attendance and follow safety practices.
• Assist with inventory counts and cash audits; support merchandising.
