Job summary

Wallis Companies is seeking a Fast Track Assistant Store Manager to train with a C-Store management team and learn to run an efficient and profitable single-unit operation. You will assist the Manager and Assistant Manager in daily operations and staff development, ensuring the best customer service standards are in place.

The role involves supervising shifts, managing schedules, and maintaining store controls; expected to work about 50 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Education: Equivalent to high school.
• Experience: 1–3 years retail experience.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Skills and Abilities: Ability to use judgment and follow standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct the shift to maximize productivity for staff and self.
• Protect company assets by following cash handling and loss prevention policies.
• Understand sales per labor hour and adhere to shift hours.
• Work irregular schedules including evenings and weekends; assist in covering shifts with short notice.
• Complete deposit and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Develop and coach employees on store procedures and customer service guidelines.
