Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) is seeking associates for the FLEX Order Selection team to accurately pull customer orders in the warehouse. You will palletize orders, ensure correct locations and labels, and operate pallet jacks safely.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and meeting productivity goals. Starting at a competitive wage with a weekend differential, training will be provided. Applicants should be 18+, able to lift up to 75 lbs, and work in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Warehouse experience selecting is preferred but not required.
Lifting objects weighing from less than 20 to 60lbs consistently.
Occasionally pushing, reaching, pulling, and gripping.
Must have the ability to work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

Identify the pick locations and safely pick the items.
Inspects assigned equipment for safety issues.
Picks the correct item and quantity, checking UPCs or item descriptions.
Places labels on the side of the cases.
Shrink wraps and labels with correct truck, stop and other required information.
Stages pallets in appropriate bay and builds a stable pallet.
Operates pallet jack/pushcart in a safe and efficient manner.
Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
