Job summary

H.L. Bowman Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our warehouse operations by receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. You will help maintain accurate inventory records and ensure safe handling of goods in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Prior warehouse experience and basic computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills with inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantity and quality.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments with accurate labeling.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers and manage shipping schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory records via cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Track and report inventory discrepancies, damage, or loss.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
• Complete and maintain records of all warehouse transactions.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and other metrics.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse team members, supervisors, and other departments.
