Job summary

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries Rehabilitation Center, Inc. seeks a Retail Merchandise Processor to join our West Chester store team.

You will process donated merchandise, stock the floor, and help ensure a clean, organized sales floor that delivers great value to our customers. In a fast-paced environment, you will sort items, price or tag as needed, and provide friendly customer service while supporting store operations and contributing to the mission of helping people with disabilities and

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• At least six months of previous work experience or equivalent education.
• Must communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Provide exceptional customer service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Sort and process donated merchandise and determine suitability for the sales floor.
• Roll and stock merchandise on sales floor, maintaining groupings.
• Record and monitor donations accurately and timely.
• Stay aware of brand names and current styles.
• Sort apparel for boutique, Ecommerce, sellable and salvage categories.
• Tag and price merchandise, prepare it for display.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and comply with safety practices.
• Provide friendly, engaging customer service to donors and customers.
• Attend store meetings and trainings; adhere to schedule.
• Cross-train in other store operations as needed.
• Support overall store operations and other duties as assigned.
