Job summary

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries in Cincinnati, Mt. Washington, is seeking a Regular Full Time Retail Merchandise Processor to join the team. You will partner with production and retail colleagues to receive, sort, price, process and prepare donated merchandise for display and sale.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service, ability to work weekends/holidays, and a fit with a fast-paced environment. Physical demands include lifting up to 35 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience or equivalent education preferred.
• Must be able to follow directions well and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to problem solve and provide exceptional customer service in a friendly, engaging way.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sort and process soft and hard line merchandise from containers to determine appropriateness for the sales floor.
• Roll merchandise and accurately stock on sales floor.
• Accurately and timely record and monitor donations.
• Stay abreast of brand name, designer labels, current and vintage styles.
• Sort apparel into boutique/Ecommerce, sellable, and salvage categories.
• Price and roll merchandise to sales floor in an organized manner.
