Qualifications

• Previous experience as a prep cook in a high-volume environment.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ingredient preparation including chopping, slicing, dicing, and marinating.
• Follow portion control procedures to minimize food waste.
• Organize and stock ingredients and supplies for smooth workflow.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen areas per food safety regulations.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and freshness.
• Assist with inventory by monitoring stock and notifying shortages.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timing and workflow.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, and dishwashing as needed.
