Job summary

Legal Sea Foods in Braintree, MA is seeking a Line Cook to prep and cook menu items to our quality standards in a fast-paced kitchen. Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in a high-volume restaurant, culinary background with knife skills, strong food-safety knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure.

Teamwork, good judgment, and effective communication are essential as you support a busy service.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience in a high-volume restaurant setting.
Culinary background with knife skills.
Cooking skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
Must be able to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

Coordinate orders to ensure they are cooked timely and with accuracy.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of all menu items and ingredients used in recipes.
Ensuring that all food temperatures are appropriate for menu item.
Must be able to take direction and delegate well.
Promotes a team atmosphere/works well on a team.
Effective written and verbal communication skill.
Demonstrates good judgment.
