Job summary

East Haven Tavern in New Haven, IN is seeking a reliable kitchen support teammate for a fast-paced environment. You will run your station independently while coordinating with the cook and kitchen team during peak hours.

Duties include keeping dishes and utensils clean during service, moving items from dining room to kitchen, prioritizing needs on rushes, making pizzas and oven sandwiches from prepared tickets, restocking prep areas, and helping reset the kitchen for the next shift.

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Able to stay focused and prioritize during rush periods.
• Works well in a small team and follows lead cook directions.
• Capable of lifting 30+ lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Keep dishes, plates, pans, and silverware washed and rotating during service.
• Bus tubs and dishes from dining room to kitchen.
• Prioritize kitchen needs during rushes.
• Make pizzas and oven sandwiches from prepared tickets.
• Restock prep table and kitchen items before shift ends.
• Help reset the kitchen for the next shift.
• Light prep work as needed.
• Keep your area clean and organized.
