Job summary

The Post Oak in Laughlin, NV is seeking a dedicated line cook to support all kitchen stations. You will read recipes, prep ingredients, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced dining environment.

This tipped position does not earn tips and offers benefits including PTO, 401K, and opportunities for advancement. Candidates must have at least 1 year of buffet/line cooking experience and strong knife skills.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year culinary experience in buffet and line cooking.
• Ability to operate and use all kitchen equipment.
• Clear and efficient communication.
• Knife skills for slicing and cutting food.
• Thorough understanding of menu items and their preparation.
• Work safely in hot, noisy, and fume-filled kitchen environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food for Employee Dining Room.
• Follow recipes while maintaining quality standards.
• Work rapidly and maintain organization.
• Maintain neat, clean and safe working environment.
• Turnover/takeover station per established procedures.
• Other duties as requested.
