Job summary

Chick-fil-A Twelve Oaks in Novi is hiring an experienced Cook to join our Back of House team. This role requires pride in cooking to standard, urgency in a fast-paced kitchen, and adherence to food safety and quality.

Expect a 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM shift window with weekends required and opportunities for growth. Competitive starting pay and shift meals are provided as part of a supportive, hospitality-focused team.

Qualifications

• Previous cook or high-volume kitchen experience is required.
• Willing to earn ServSafe certification.
• Reliable availability from 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM, including Saturdays.
• Ability to stand, lift 40+ lbs, and work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Cook every product to Chick-fil-A quality and hold time standards
• Execute breading, breakfast, grilled, and fryer stations with speed and accuracy
• Follow food safety protocols — temperatures, glove changes, cross-contamination prevention, and cook logs
• Complete Icon checks and product-quality verifications every shift
• Keep stations clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift
• Communicate hold times, waste, and equipment issues to the Shift Coach
• Support opening procedures, breakfast-to-lunch transition, and mid-day resets
• Set the pace and standard for other BOH team members
