Job summary

Roadrunner is seeking Freight Handlers to keep freight moving safely and efficiently at the Commerce, CA service center. You will load, unload, tag, and move shipments with high accuracy in a fast-paced dock environment.

We require a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related experience, ability to read safety rules, forklift qualification, and basic math. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and instructions.
• Forklift driver qualification required.
• Hazardous Materials Training preferred.
• Experience in freight, logistics, warehouse, or LTL environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, stack, and secure freight with accuracy to prevent damage.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists and other equipment safely.
• Transport freight between dock areas and storage zones; keep areas clean.
• Coordinate with operations leaders and supervisors; surface issues clearly.
• Prioritize tasks to meet timelines while preserving quality and safety.
