Job summary

WarHorse Gaming, a division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., seeks a Food & Beverage Expeditor in Lincoln, NE. The role ensures timely and accurate orders between kitchen and front-of-house, supporting smooth operations and high guest satisfaction.

Expect to assist with order flow, garnish and quality checks, and clear communication of dietary requests. Flexible schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays; paid benefits and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Comfortable using mobile devices and touch-screen technology.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication skills with a commitment to guest service excellence.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Previous server and/or culinary experience (preferred).
• Food Handler certification (preferred).
• ServSafe certification (preferred).
• TIPS Alcohol Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Practice, support, and maintain the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming, LLC.
• Set up, maintain, and break down the expediting station in compliance with expected business volume and health code regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients and presentation standards.
• Monitor and manage the flow of orders through Kitchen Display Systems (KDS) or printed tickets.
• Assist in the final preparation of dishes, including garnishing and quality checks.
• Communicate special requests, modifications, and allergy alerts clearly to the culinary team.
• Assemble completed orders in the correct sequence for pick-up by service staff.
• Confirm the accuracy and completeness of all orders before they are delivered to guests.
• Ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests by coordinating with service staff and food runners.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Adhere to all departmental and company policies, procedures, and internal controls, as well as applicable government regulations.
• Attend required training sessions and departmental meetings.
• Maintain a professional, polished appearance and provide exceptional internal service to fellow team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
