Job summary

Hard Rock International is seeking a Cashier to ensure accurate handling of restaurant financial transactions and provide prompt, courteous service to guests. You will count, document, and prepare monetary deposits while supporting team members across servers, bartenders, and retail staff.

You will reconcile daily transactions, manage deposits, cash logs, and assist with chargebacks and end-of-shift cash reconciliation in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling experience in a high volume establishment (retail/restaurants or gaming venues)
• Ability to problem solve and remain calm under pressure
• Ability to multi-task and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
• Practice safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to bend, reach and lift up to 25 lb cash bags

Responsibilities

• Cashing out servers, bartenders, and retail sales associates
• Reconciling of daily credit card transactions
• Making daily deposits and bank manifests
• Creation and maintenance of the armored car log
• Processing party deposits
• Managing petty cash and petty cash log with prompt approvals
• Voucher reconciliation
• Building daily cash bags
• Assisting with chargebacks
• Change runs
• Balancing the safe (3x per day)
• Cashing out Box Office, Live, and Banquet employees if applicable
• Handling paid ins/paid outs for employees
• Notifying management of over/shorts
• Manual hotel charges if applicable
• Direct bill payments
• Potentially serving as Cafe Receptionist as directed by GM/DO
