Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a store associate to handle front-end duties including scanning, bagging, and cash handling while restocking and keeping shelves tidy. You will assist with carts, set up checkout areas, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout your shift.

Qualified candidates will be able to meet physical requirements, follow policies, wear required attire, and complete the initial probationary period.

Qualifications

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodation.
Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
Must complete the company introductory period (30 or 60 days).
Must perform all job functions safely.
Must meet performance standards including regular attendance.
Must wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes for this job.
Must have technical training (job specific requirement).

Responsibilities

Scan and/or enter numbers on the register, lift and move goods, make change and bag orders.
Restock returns and replenish front-end items (candy, gift cards, snacks).
Assist with carts and keep areas neat and clean.
Provide exceptional customer service and engage with shoppers.
Review schedules at shift start and prepare equipment and supplies.
