Off The Hook Restaurants in Walker, LA is seeking a dependable Kitchen/Dishwasher to support our fast-paced Cajun kitchen and help maintain high cleanliness standards. You’ll wash dishes, organize stations, and assist the team to deliver our Real Cajun Real Fast dining experience.

This entry-level role requires the ability to work evenings and weekends, be detail-oriented, and complete company training. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and applicants must be 16 years or older

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must complete all required Off The Hook company training programs.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes at a high-quality that meet our restaurant's standards
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls, and floors
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining a high level of energy
• Take pride in crafting exceptional dishes and delivering a memorable dining experience
• Handle a variety of kitchen tasks, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning
• Follow all food safety regulations and procedures, including proper handling and storage of food, to prevent contamination and ensure the health of guests
• Use kitchen equipment and appliances safely and effectively, performing basic maintenance and reporting any malfunctions to management
• Work closely with other kitchen team and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations
