Job summary

Stonebridge at Embassy Suites Austin Central is seeking a part-time Bartender to craft and serve beverages for guests and events. You will set up and stock the bar, maintain cleanliness, and ensure responsible beverage service while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have prior bartender or F&B experience, solid knowledge of drink preparation, and comfort using POS systems. The role requires friendly communication, teamwork, and flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous bartender or food & beverage experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving techniques.
• Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately with POS systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of alcohol safety regulations; TIPS certification (or within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Mix, pour, and serve beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Set up and stock the bar with beverages, glassware, and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety compliance of the bar area.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption per guidelines.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process guest payments accurately using POS systems.
• Restock bar supplies as needed during shifts.
• Handle cash and credit transactions per outlet procedures.
• Assist with inventory and report discrepancies to Bar Manager.
• Follow opening/closing procedures and clean equipment.
