Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a Cashier/Checker to greet customers, assist with purchases and process transactions efficiently. You will operate the POS system, manage tenders, coupons and loyalty offers, while upholding loss prevention and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and engage customers at the checkout.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately through the POS system.
• Handle cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP/EBT, WIC, coupons and loyalty offers per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss-prevention guidelines.
• Follow rules on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Follow policies for stamps, gift cards and coupons.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness, follow food safety guidelines.
