Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them, creating a welcoming environment.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Operate the POS system and handle tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons).
• Follow cash handling and loss-prevention guidelines; adhere to policy on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator and stay current with store ads and promotions.
• Adhere to all safety and food safety regulations; participate in safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
