Job summary

Meijer in Grand Rapids is hiring an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and customers have a great shopping experience. You will handle food and grocery products, move stock from pallets to shelves, and keep backrooms organized with safety in mind.

We value teamwork, reliability, and the ability to learn new tech. Overnight shifts are part of the role, offering weekly pay and benefits through Meijer Rewards.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated backroom areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
