Job summary

G-III Retail Group, parent of Karl Lagerfeld Paris, is seeking a Sales Associate in Elizabeth, NJ to deliver an elevated customer experience. You will understand customer needs, offer product recommendations, ring transactions, and uphold visual standards to help meet sales goals.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of face-to-face customer service experience and a high school diploma. You should be personable, driven, and capable of building a client base through outreach and networking.

Qualifications

• 6 months face-to-face customer service experience preferred.
• Interpersonal and verbal communication skills enabling effective sales and customer relations.
• Experience in client outreach, appointment setting, and maintenance of a relevant client book/network.

Responsibilities

• Meet personal sales goals. Be aware of sales-to-goal status and consistently strive to achieve company sales expectations.
• Maintain a strong customer focus and consistently provide quality customer service. Promote a positive customer experience by keeping all customer areas clean and present merchandise according to company merchandising standards.
• Ring customer transactions, perform register functions and follow company cash handling policies.
