Job summary

H&M in Newport News is looking for a Sales Advisor to deliver outstanding customer service, inspire fashion choices, and guide customers through the OMNI experience where available.

You will work with a store team to maintain visual merchandising, operate fitting rooms and checkout, and participate in product learning and loyalty initiatives.

The role is hourly, on-site in the retail environment with opportunities to develop your skills and grow within the brand.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience in fashion or customer service.
• Strong communication and client-focused service.
• Ability to guide customers through omni-channel options where available.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge and trends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and guide customers through the store.
• Promote products and upsell to meet sales targets.
• Assist with garment presentation and store cleanliness.
• Support with loyalty app promotions and sustainability initiatives.
• Operate fitting rooms and checkout areas per best practices.
• Follow store procedures and health & safety guidelines.
