My Melrose in Houston, TX is seeking a Sr. Service Manager to lead store operations and deliver an exceptional in-store experience. You will supervise the sales floor, uphold visual standards, and mentor associates to achieve daily goals.

The role requires decisive leadership, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to train staff, manage schedules, and handle cash and safety procedures. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive performance in a fast-paced fashion environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of management experience in retail or non-retail.
• Retail experience a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to train and directing others and developing associates at all levels.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret floor plans, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to perform cash register functions.
• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Stylish with a love of fashion.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with the following tasks.
• Manage the sales floor.
• Keep up visual standards.
• Perform opening and closing routines, deposits, and receipt of shipment.
• Assist in developing associates at all levels.
• Assist in building a team that works well together based on store needs.
• Follow and execute daily direction and goals for the shift.
• Incorporate loss prevention and safety messages into daily operations.
