Job summary

Michele Marie PR is a boutique, award-winning public relations agency specializing in fashion, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle brands. We seek an Account Executive or Senior AE to join our LA hybrid team, managing multiple accounts and delivering standout media coverage.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in PR agency settings, strong editor relationships, and excellent writing and presentation skills, with a proactive, collaborative mindset for fast-paced growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public relations agency experience, preferably within fashion, or lifestyle.
• Demonstrated success securing earned media placements across print, digital, broadcast, and podcasts.
• Established relationships with fashion and lifestyle media.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Solutions-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Experience executing media events and press activations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Muck Rack.
• Positive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic media relations programs across print, digital, broadcast, and podcast outlets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with editors, producers, freelancers, and key industry contacts.
• Proactively pitch product launches, brand stories, founder profiles, trend features, gift guides, and expert commentary opportunities.
• Manage day-to-day client communications while providing thoughtful strategic recommendations.
• Draft compelling pitches, press releases, media alerts, briefing documents, and other client materials.
• Monitor media opportunities, secure meaningful coverage, and report on campaign performance.
• Coordinate product mailings, desk-side meetings, media appointments, and client events.
• Assist in planning and executing press previews, launch events, and experiential activations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with influencer, celebrity, events, and affiliate teams to maximize campaign impact.
• Stay informed on industry trends, media movements, and competitive activity.
• Effectively manage multiple accounts and deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
