Michele Marie PR is a award-winning, bi-coastal public relations agency focused on fashion, beauty, wellness and lifestyle brands. The NY team seeks an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to manage media relations and client service for beauty-focused accounts.

The role requires 3+ years of agency experience, strong editor relationships, and the ability to handle multiple accounts in a fast-paced hybrid New York setting. Hybrid in NYC with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public relations agency experience, preferably within beauty, wellness, fashion, or lifestyle.
• Demonstrated success securing earned media placements across print, digital, broadcast, and podcasts.
• Established relationships with beauty and lifestyle media.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Solutions-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Experience executing media events and press activations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic media relations programs across print, digital, broadcast, and podcast outlets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with editors, producers, freelancers, and key industry contacts.
• Proactively pitch product launches, brand stories, founder profiles, trend features, gift guides, and expert commentary opportunities.
• Manage day-to-day client communications while providing thoughtful strategic recommendations.
• Draft compelling pitches, press releases, media alerts, briefing documents, and other client materials.
• Monitor media opportunities, secure meaningful coverage, and report on campaign performance.
• Coordinate product mailings, desk-side meetings, media appointments, and client events.
• Assist in planning and executing press previews, launch events, and experiential activations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with influencer, celebrity, events, and affiliate teams to maximize campaign impact.
• Stay informed on industry trends, media movements, and competitive activity.
• Effectively manage multiple accounts and deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated, organized, and proactive Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join our New York editorial team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for beauty and consumer brands who thrives in a fast-moving agency environment and has a proven ability to secure impactful media coverage.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of public relations agency experience, maintains strong relationships with editors and producers, and is confident managing multiple client accounts while contributing strategic ideas and exceptional client service.

This is a hybrid position based in New York City.
