Job summary

Michele Marie PR, a premier fashion and lifestyle PR agency, seeks an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive for our New York team. The role focuses on building media relationships, securing coverage, and delivering client‑led campaigns in a fast‑paced, hybrid work environment.

You will manage multiple accounts, craft compelling pitches and press materials, and collaborate with influencer and events teams to maximize visibility for clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public relations agency experience in fashion or lifestyle.
• Proven success securing earned media across print, digital, broadcast, and podcasts.
• Established relationships with fashion and lifestyle media.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Solutions‑oriented mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience executing media events and press activations.
• Proficiency in Muck Rack and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic media relations programs across outlets.
• Build relationships with editors, producers, freelancers, and contacts.
• Pitch product launches, brand stories, founder profiles, and features.
• Manage day-to-day client communications with strategic input.
• Draft pitches, press releases, media alerts, and briefing docs.
• Monitor opportunities, secure coverage, and report results.
• Coordinate product mailings, desk-side meetings, and events.
• Assist in planning press previews, launches, and activations.
• Collaborate with influencer, celebrity, events, and affiliate teams.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitive activity.
• Handle multiple accounts and deadlines with attention to detail.
